Convection Space Heating

Electric space heating products have not seen any major advances in years.  In most cases electric heaters are treated as commodities; the only point for comparison being price.  Given the push towards green energy solutions, the need for performance and efficiency improvements in this relatively stagnant category has never been more apparent.

The seemingly timeless electric baseboard has remained more or less unchanged for decades.  Panel convection heaters are a more recent attempt to condense long baseboard heaters into a smaller space while maintaining all the quiet comfort of convection heat.  The result is a narrower heater that fits more easily into a room’s available space, however, it puts the heater higher up the wall and makes it an unwelcome part of the décor.

A baseboard creates a wide slow moving air curtain that travels up the wall and slowly spreads out across the room.  A panel convector creates a much faster airflow over a smaller area; this airflow is able to deliver the heat energy to the center of a heated space much faster than the slow airflow from a baseboard heater.  The delivery time of the heat to the center of the room is directly responsible for the overall comfort of the occupants.  This is especially true when the room undergoes a change in conditions, such as a door opening, a change to the set point of the thermostat, or even a drafty room.  The faster the heater responds to these changes the more comfortable the occupants.

We will be launching a product this spring that will fundamentally change the electric heating category by combining the best of the panel convector and baseboard heater.  While this new “Linear Convector” may look similar to a baseboard, the overall length has been reduced by as much as 40% compared to a conventional baseboard, while simultaneously increasing airflow by 40%.  The Linear Convector therefore delivers the size reduction of a panel convector while remaining far less conspicuous in a room. In addition, the end user can expect to enjoy energy savings of up to 10% courtesy of reduced heat loss through outside walls, which is where electric baseboards were typically located.

With more clean and renewable energy coming online every year, the future of electric heat is bright, especially for companies who are prepared to challenge conventional wisdom.

    Are there any wiring differences between the 120V and the 240V? Does the 240V use two 120V leads, neutral and a ground?

      Hello Randy,

      There is no difference in the number of wires being hooked up between the different voltages. The only difference is in how they are hooked up by the user. The 120V versions will use L1 (120V line), N (neutral) wire, and a ground, where as the 240V version will use L1 (120V line), L2 (120V line), and a ground. See wiring diagram from the user manual for clarity.

    Already bought 2 LC heating boards, but need an additional 3 LPC boards to complete the work. Are they available yet ? Home Depots I’ve been to have the space and tag for it, but no inventory. They keep telling me they don’t know when they’ll get it. I live in Montreal, Qc.

    Looking to purchase an LPC in the U.S. Where can I order from? Also, what is the advantage to having a remote control if the electronic control is already on the baseboard heater? Lastly, hydronic electric heaters seem very popular, how does this purely electric baseboard heater (LPC) compare?

      The advantage of employing the remote is wireless connectivity of these heaters. Multiple heaters can be connected to one device to control whole home heating; or multiple remotes can be employed creating heat zones. We do not sell hydronic heating products; however, I can say from a cost/watt perspective, our LPCs offer incredible value vs. hydronic products.

    I love the LPC series, just too bad there is no programmable thermostat available on RF, this would be so helpful. I guess I will have to buy the LC series with Aube or Honeywell programmable thermostat and run some extra wires, planning multiple conversions from oil furnaces

    I purchased 2 x 500w 240v LPC heaters. Easy to install the first. Unfortunately, the 2nd unit needs to be installed on a 120v line. Do I have to exchange it for a 500w 120v or can I install the unit as L1 hot, L2 neutral? Will I get the full 500w or only 1/4 (or do the LPC electronics allow for the variable voltage connections?). Thanks!

      Hello Dwayne,

      We would not recommend hooking 240v up to 120v, and you would only get the watts as they expected. At the present time, we are only offering this in 240v.

      Hello Len,

      This is normal behaviour only if the heater is hooked up to a thermostat. Otherwise, it could be a symptom of a bad installation if it is cycling on the temperature limiting cutout.

    Late November 2011 the Home Hardware flyer (Ottawa area – Ontario) advertised a programmable wireless thermostat for the LPC series! I ordered some along with some heaters. The thermostats are back ordered to May 2012 unfortunately. A recent call with customer service at Dimplex indicated the product didn’t exist. Confimed with local Home Hardware who called their head office – product does exist. So new product not in Dimplex catalogue as of yet – so customer service unaware??? Or Home Hardware not notified of cancellation of product??? Other??

    In follow up to Lisa’s question regarding US distribution. I too am interested on when the LPC model will be available here in the US. F.N Cuthbert does have the LPC model listed on their website, however it notes coming soon. I have also confirmed over the phone that they are unsure of when to expect the LPC model.       Hello Lewis,

      The estimated release date for the LPC to U.S. distributors is spring 2012. The LC has the same heat output as well as size as the LPC, and with the capabilities to work with our built-in field installable thermostat kit (DTK Series) the LC is a great alternate to the LPC. The LC can also be operated with one of our wall thermostat TS/TD Series, and if energy efficiency is a concern, our electronic thermostats HTC series are also compatible with the LC Series.

    I just installed five 240V LPC heaters but only two of them are working properly. I ran wire from a junction box into one bedroom to connect a heater and then ran wire from that heater to the next bedroom’s heater. Only the one at the end of the run is working properly. The one at the beginning of the run is just pumping out heat, regardless of the setting. The same story in the other bedroom. The fifth is on it’s own run from the junction box and is also just pumping out heat regardless of the thermostat’s settings. Could the 3 be defective? I can’t find any troubleshooting info on your website.

    I have installed 5 of these new convection heaters with top mount thermostats. All work well, but my husband and I are quite concerned with the intense heat of the walls above each heater. The wall is quite hot near the heaters. Is this normal? Is this a fire hazard? I have pulled the heaters away from the wall by 5 cm. but the heat of the walls are the same.

      Hi Debbie, thank you for your questions regarding the linear convectors. All Dimplex linear convectors are CSA approved and safe if installed following the Operating Instructions. If you are concerned regarding the wall heating, there is an option of adding spacers behind the unit to reduce the wall temperature. These instructions can be found in the Owner’s manual available on our website.

    The reply comment only talked about a replacement thermostat that can be ordered from Home Depot & Home Hardware. My question is/was does a “programmable, wireless thermostat” exist for the LPC series? (This thermostat goes on the wall.) It was advertised and sold my Home Harware store. It currently is back ordered. But a call to customer service at Dimplex resulted in being told this thermostat didn’t exist. Help???

    Hello! I have installed a 2500w LPC series baseboard heater and am using a honeywell programmable thermostat. The problem is that even though the thermostat is set to a temperature lower than the room, the heater keeps functioning. Is there any way to bypass the heater’s built in thermostat? Can I disconnect a particular wire which would allow the wall mounted thermostat to regulate the heater?

      Hello Bob,
      The appropriate product to use with a Honeywell Programmable Thermostat is the LC. Any other use could invalidate warranty on the
      LPC.

      Hello Eric,

      As electric heat is 100% efficient, there would be no specific increase to efficiency through use of the LC. However, its reduced length decreases the footprint of the heater on the wall, decreasing heat loss by up to 10% vs. conventional baseboards. As well, the 500w/foot element doubles heating output from the LC vs. conventional boards, speeding heat to your room.

    We hade no choice but to install one of the heaters under an electrical outlet eventhough the instructions say not to.. However, if we do not plug anything into the outlet, is it ok? Should we remove the outlet?

      Hello Mel,

      The LC/LPC heaters are unique in that they produce 40% faster airflow and will heat your cabin faster than a traditional baseboard. Our LPC heaters use wireless RF control and are ready to work with a future app-based technology to control the heaters remotely, but this system is still a little ways off in the future. We are definitely aware of installations like yours and we are working hard to make this a reality.

      Another option would to use our programmable controller (CX-MPC) and program it to warm up your cabin on Friday night before you arrive. You could have it programmed to reduce the temperature again at midnight on Friday and then override it once you arrive. This way it will only warm for a short time in case there are weekends that you don’t use your cabin. This would be a simple and cost-effective way of getting the functionality you’re looking for.

    Just wondering if it is ok to mount an LC baseboard to the side of a kitchen cabinet? It is plywood construction, painted antique white. If so, think there could be any discoloration over time? Trying to find an alternative to a electric toe kick heater, which I’m not very fond of. thanks

      Hey Todd

      There should be no issue with this provided that the paint is cured. Linear Convectors (and baseboard heaters in general) draw a lot air and push it up the wall so over time they will accumulate room dust on the wall above the heater, which can be easily cleaned off. The MDF itself will not have an issue with the temperatures produced by the heater.

      Great question, yes the LC heaters can be installed on drywall that is painted. If the wall has been freshly painted, please ensure you adhere to the paint manufacture’s recommended curing time before turning the LC heater on.

    We replaced a 2000W heater with one of your heaters. It was placed under a window where we had 3″ horizontal blinds made of some form of thick plastic (wood textured in white). We had an issue with the rising heat causing the blinds to deform.
    We are looking into replacing the unit with a more conventional convection heater within the next two weeks – before the heating season restarts.
    Another issue I could see with the heater, after having used it for a year, is that fact that the open top makes it easier for objects to fall into the heater.

      Hello Louise

      The LC/LPC series do require 20” of clearance between the unit and any vinyl objects that are above the heater, this includes blinds. All clearance requirements for installing the LC/LPC heaters can be found in the installation instructions, if you no longer have a copy of these instructions, they can be found on our website. If you are unable to retain the minimum clearance, than we do recommend that a conventional baseboard be used.

      The second part of your question;
      We include the louvered, full-length guard to protect against anything falling into the heater. We also include a full-length thermal cutout that automatically shuts off power to the unit if any obstruction were to cause the product to overheat. We do appreciate your concerns, which is why we built the LC/LPC to the highest safety standards.

    Hi Chad, I recently purchased Dimplex DIMPLEX 500 W Linear Convector 120V – White
    however I tried to connect the wires with my wall mounted termostat, but the wires in the casing are together no Red. the two black wires are connected.. do you have a manual or video that easily explains the installation. I do not know how to read electrical plans

    hi i install 240/ 500w Dimplex baseborad heater in my bathroom 1St one worked but would not shut off i turned off from the thermostat after 4hr it was vary hot in the bathroom.After turning off it would not turnback on. i checked the power ,i got 240V,checked element checked ok ,checked thermostat its ok,bypassed thermostat and tryed still not working,check power L1 to ground 120V and L1 to L2 got 240V, but after hooking the wires no heat. tryed new heater still not working.

    Hi,
    I am considering replacing an old 9 foot baseboard heater in my family room. The room is 19×19 feet with a south facing bank of dormer windows over south facing sliding patio doors. I get a considerable amount of solar gain on sunny days. Additionally I have a wood stove in the room for supplimental heat. What model dimplex heater would you recommend?

      Hello Glenn,

      Your 9 foot baseboard would be a 2500 watt heater. We would recommend you stay with a 2500 watt unit. This would provide sufficient heat on the coldest days of the year when there is very little solar gain.

      We would however recommend the use of our LPC Series heater with built in electronic thermostat. This unit will measure the temperature of the air entering the heater and provide more accurate heating, while providing maximum energy efficiency. As opposed to a wall-mounted thermostat that could be in a cold location and waste energy when there is high solar gain or in a sunny location and not provide enough heat when the thermostat is in direct sunlight.  If you would like to keep the convenience of a wall control you can add the wireless Single-zone CONNEX Controller – available at retail.  This low cost control provides the instructions to the LPC heater, but the temperature sensing is still done at the heater itself, ensuring maximum accuracy and therefore greater comfort.  Since it is wireless it also very easy to install and synchronize to your heater.  The combination of the LPC and the Single-zone CONNEX Controller should give you everything you’re looking for.

      Hello Joel,

      Please see the below information on our LPC. This information is also in the manual of the unit. When connecting more than one unit they should not connect in series as they will not get the heat out put that they require. The correct way to connect multiple units is by hooking them in parallel. Given that information a License Electrician should be doing this install. If the customer does not know the difference between connecting in series or parallel they need to hire a license electrician to do the install.

      Multiple Linear Proportional Convectors can be wired in parallel on a single circuit. To use/control multiple Linear Proportional Convectors from a single source, a CONNEXTM controller can be used. By synchronizing one CONNEXTM controller to multiple LPC’s, the controller can control all of the heaters from one location. Each component must be within 15m (45ft) of any other component in the system for the entire system to operate.

    Three short questions and one comment if I may:

    1 – If I want to shim out your LC and/or LPC baseboard heater a bit, what material should this shim be made of? Is a wood shim OK?
    2 – I see that the LPC series can only be wired at the right hand side. Given that my present baseboard heaters are wired on the left hand side, this will throw the heater off-center in the room; and will remove it significantly from under the window, etc. Is there a way to get around this? And
    3 – My granddaughter’s present (old – 1979) baseboard heaters are 96″, 60, 50″ and 28″ in length. I have not taken one apart as yet, hence do not know what the wattages are by size. Would the Traditional Baseboards/LPC Series/Wattage Chart on your website be a good guide as to what LPC size I can replace each of my old sizes with?

    My comment is: I have tried calling your technical service several times – at several times of the day, including right after 8:00AM. Each time I end up in queue, being Caller #20, #14, #25 in queue. Surely this telephone answering service of yours should be better resourced. For your consideration.

      1 – Unfortunately, we cannot recommend what kind of wood to use. However, we do have Optimizer Kits for the units.
      2 – No, all LPC must be connected from the right side of the heater. Due to the board being on the right of the unit.

      Thank you for your above response. Re: Connecting to the right hand side of the heater (because that is where the ‘board’ (electronic thermostat) is: I understand your answer. However it is my further understanding (from your Customer Service personnel) that there is indeed a junction box at BOTH ends of the heater and that the power supply can be brought into the left hand side and then be extended under the heater to the right hand side (to connect to the ‘board’) – thus allowing the new, shorter Dimplex heater to remain approximately where the old one was located (ie: in the middle of the wall/room, under the window). Please confirm that this is OK to do.

      Is there a webpage that I can look at for the Optimer Kits? Hope so. And is it my understanding that the Optimizer Kits will ONLY marginally reduce the wall temperature from 167 degrees to about 149 degrees.

      I apologize for the confusion. Your understanding based on your conversation with customer service is exactly correct. There are junction boxes at both ends of the LPC heater, which allows you to bring power in on the left and run wire in the conduit space at the bottom to the right side where the final connection to the controls needs to be made.

      We have completed third party testing on the Installation Optimizer Kit since the initial information on wooden spacers was published and the Optimizer further reduces wall temperature above the LC from 161º F to 131º F.       Based on the sizing you provided, your granddaughter’s baseboards are most likely the following:
      96” –2,500W
      60” – 1,500W
      50” – 1,000W
      28” – 500W
      We recommend replacing these baseboards with the equivalent LPC wattage, the lengths will be much shorter.

      Thank you for your inquiry regarding the installation of the LC/LPC product. We do not recommend the installation of an LC or LPC heater on a wall with wallpaper. Linear Convectors are high-performance heaters that produce up to 40% more airflow than a conventional electric baseboard. While this improved performance will give you much greater comfort, it is difficult to predict with certainty how the myriad of wallpaper products and adhesives in the market will respond to long-term heating. We know with absolute certainty that painted drywall is the ideal wall surface for Linear Convectors (and baseboards in general) and therefore recommend that for all installations.

    I am considering specifying a combination of your LPC and PCH heaters for my new home with the Connex system to control the various units. I’m wondering

    1. To what extent do interior walls and floors reduce the range of the Connex unit? Can the controller be reliably used to manage basement units with the controller on the second floor of a two story house?

    2. What operating noise standards do you have for the LPC heaters? Are they completely silent or is some pinging or other noise expected as the unit cycles? Thank you.

      Hi Karl

      Thank you for considering the LPC and PCH heaters for your home. The CONNEX system works on 2.4 Ghz frequency range, which as with cordless phones, works very well through interior walls and floors. Each heater also includes a transceiver that repeats the signal on to additional heaters so even the furthest heater from the controller can receive instructions from the next closest heater. In case you’re wondering, our system works on a different band within the 2.4 Ghz range so you do not need to worry about interference from cordless phones.

      You can expect LPC heaters to operate silently with the possible exception of when they are first energized. Pinging can occur when there is a large temperature change, however, because every LPC heater is equipped with a proportional electronic thermostat this is essentially eliminated during normal operation. Unlike conventional thermostats, which operate full-on / full-off, LPC heaters with their proportional thermostat essentially run continuously at the lowest possible level to match the heat loss in the room. This prevents wide temperature swings in the heating element that can cause pinging.

    Hello,

    We have recently installed two dimplex heaters. There are two rooms about 10′ x 10′ each and we’ve installed a 1500w (with integrated thermostats) in each room. Now when we initially used them we would put the temperature up to 23 degrees celsius when we got to the office and they would heat up to that temperature. When we left the office we used the economy setting at -5 degrees c. When we returned to the office we removed the economy setting and turned them up to 23 degrees c. The last two times we have set them at 23 degrees c as usual but they won’t heat up past the 16 degree mark. That goes for both heaters (in the two different rooms.) We can’t figure out why since it has worked previously. Could you please help. Thanks!

    i installed a 1500 watt lpc heater with the built in thermostat in my bedroom a couple of days ago and i set the temp for 24 degrees celcius, however it hasnt increased past 16 in any setting. the model # 6001610340. any help would be great thanks

    I am interested in the LPC wall mount 2000 watt convection heater. My only concerns is how hot the surface of the metal gets while heating. I am puting this in my sons room and want to know if it is hot or burning hot.. Thanks

      Hi Charles,

      We appreciate the concern you have about surface temperatures, particularly in the case of a child’s bedroom. The LPC heater will definitely help in this regard because, assuming that it is sized correctly for the room, it will only run at 100% output on the coldest day of the year. In other words, if the heat loss for that room on a given cold day is 1,000 watts, then the 2,000 watt heater will run at 50% of its total heating capacity. This also means the surface temperatures will be lower, especially compared to a conventional baseboard with a mechanical (bi-metal) thermostat, which will operate full-on, full-off.

      We recommend using the detailed heat loss calculator on our web site to make sure that the heater is sized correctly for the room.

    Hi

    I just installed a LPC 2500w. I have connected 120Volts to L1, 120Volts to L2 and the ground. After 10 minutes, the breaker 20amps/240V tripped… I have proceeded to some test and the breaker is good. I reinstalled the old baseboard and everything is working fine. It is only when the LPC is connected that make the breaker to trip. Connection error?

    Hello,

    I just installed a 2500 watt lpc and I am wondering if there is supposed to be a backlight on the display? I also installed a 750 watt and the display lights up every time I push a button. There also seems to be a not of humming noise from the 2500 watt but the 750 is silent.

      Thanks for the response, I am very impressed with the level of feedback by Dimplex on this site. The wait times for customer service on the phone are extremely long….so I will ask here and await your response.

      I returned the supposedly faulty heater to Home Depot (Halifax NS, Canada) and purchased the same lpc heater, however, it had a similar product model number and date code. Subsequently I have hooked it up and unfortunately still experience the buzzing sound and no backlight issues. The model number that I have is PC6025W31 and has the following other indicators: V.A.C. 240/208, Watts 2500/1875, and date code 1012. From the above posts, I gather that there have been updates to the 2000 and 2500 Watt LC and LPC heaters and that they are indicated by the “+” sign at the end of the model numbers. Can you please confirm that there is in fact an updated model for the 2500 watt LPC? If so, how can I get an updated model with no buzzing and a working backlight? Is there a particular date code that I should look for? Unfortunately, I looked through all of the Home depot stock and they all had the same 1012 date code. I also called another retailer, Kent building supplies, and they confirmed that the lpc heaters did not have a “+” sign at the end of the PC6025W31 units that they had. Alternatively to me searching far and wide for the heater, Is it possible for you to send me an updated modelor have it sent to another Dimplex dealer?

      I would really appreciate your response as I would like to get a solution to my heating problems as soon as possible and avoid wiring anymore faulty heaters!

      We did update the 2000 and 2500 watt models last year to include stainless steel elements which reduce the humming issue some customers were experiencing. Unfortunately the only way to get a replacement unit is through our customer service department. I understand that the wait times on the phone are long, therefore I have sent your questions onto our customer service manager and asked her to have someone contact you via the e-mail attached to your response.     Hello.

    I have several LPC series heaters and most are controlled by the wireless controller. For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to shut the heaters off completely.

    In one case, I have a stand alone unit (not linked on wireless) in our mudroom, which gets very cold. The unit has the onboard thermostat. I can get the thermostat set down to 32 but if I don’t want it coming on at all, how is this accomplished?

    The heater is in parallel with two other indoor so shutting the circuit breaker isn’t an option.

      Hi Jeff

      Great question! As with most hard wired heaters and bi-metal thermostats the best way to completely turn them off is to shut off the breaker to the units, however I understand this is not an option for you as you have them running in parallel with other units. The other solution we would normally suggest is what you have already done, which is to turn the units down to 32 degrees, by doing this it means that the unit is essentially only providing freeze protection, which provides you with a measure of safety against frozen/burst pipes. This is the same functionality that a standard single-pole thermostat provides with a conventional baseboard, and is not unique to the LPC.

    I recently purchased 2 1500 watt LC to replace a dated traditional baseboard unit. In the instruction manual on th top of page 2 it says that these can be connected end to end to form a continuous length of linear convector section but does not give instructions on how to do so. To be clear, is the intent of the instructions to have the 2 units simply placed end to end or is there a way to remove the end covers and join them to give the appearance of one longer continuous unit? If so, please provide instructions on how to proceed. Thank you for your anticipated response.

    I recently installed 2 LPC baseboard heaters synced to the wireless Dimplex thermostat and they work great but both units make a pretty loud humming noise when in operation. Both units make the same humming noise, not unbearable to live with but i was hoping for silent electric heat.

    Is there anything i should look at that could be causing the noise? It sounds like most of the comments say the heaters are silent but mine are both humming. I used the proper Romex wire and the units are running off a dedicated dual 15 amp breaker. The wiring passed inspection so i’m assuming it’s not my wiring that’s an issue.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I’m replacing an old baseboard heater which is wired from the left. Your new convection heater can only be wired from the right (assume). Can I join new wire to wire it from the right on your new heater?

The new baseboard heaters have a built-in wireway built into the bottom of the unit, and an area on the left which can be used as a junction box, in the event that you need to wire the unit from the left.     I need help synchronizing my 3 PLC heaters with the model CX-MPC wireless controller.
    I believe I have followed the instructions correctly. The programming for the 3 zones is setup to bring the heater temperature up to 68F daily at 0200 am and then lower the temperature to 63F at 1100 a.m. I chose this time frame when my wood stove is not being reloaded with wood. The heaters will NOT start heating to 68F at 0200 am. They just keep the temperature constant at the lower 63F setting. I have tried synching and reprogramming several times with the same result as mentioned. Thanks for any help you can provide. Howard.

    A VERY late response to my earlier email on Dec 16, 2013.

    Often when purchasing a new product, there is no real way of knowing how good the customer service will be, if an issue occurs after installation and additional product support is required.

    Hello I installed a 240V, 1000W LC a few weeks ago in my 80 sq ft. bathroom and i notice that the unit trips out quite regularly….( i assume on over temp trip)..but it always resets within 30 sec. …..The unit replaced a regular 500 W baseboard heater which was controlled by an in-line wall digital programable thermostat. The thermostat controls the new LC fine…..The LC was installed 1″ from the wall and there is nothing close to it that would restrict air flow….in fact the air flow is very good and the room heats up quickly….Today I called your hot line and was told the thermostat was too far from the unit and it runs a lot hotter than the room so i should move items closer together…..
    I had doubts with the solution but no others were offered. The service support person said the over temp trip activates between 90 and 100 F and if the unit is on too long it would trip out…..no matter how cold the air was around the unit……so after i hung up I decided to put a thermometer on top of the unit (just above the thermal cut out) while it was heating up.. here are my results….Room temp 17C. unit off temp above unit 17C…….set thermostat to 22C.. …unit turns on…after 9 minutes the temp above the unit was 29C and it tripped off for 22 sec then resets…room temp was 17.5C…… after another 5min it trips again and reset after 31 sec. with the temp above unit at 34.1C and room temp 18C..this continued for 6 more trips and resets happening about every 2-4 minutes….with heater temp no higher that 35.5C and room temp increasing to 20.5C…after the last reset which was 35 minutes after the initial increase of the thermostat and with the heater temp steady around 36C..the unit ran a full 17 minutes until the room temp hit 22C…………while i don’t have a problem with the unit operating this way but i don’t think it is normal do yo have any suggestions /comments…..i waited 25 minutes for service support first time so i thought i’d sent my info/question in this way this time…thanks for any help..

      LPC models include a built-in electronic thermostat and do not require a wall thermostat. If you want to use a wall control for LPC’s we offer programmable and non-programmable wireless CONNEX controls – Non-programmable (DPCRWS) and Programmable/Multi-zone (CX-MPC) available at many home improvement and hardware retailers as well as online.
