I love Valentine’s Day. I blame the strong influence of my zodiac sign (a sign that loves ‘love’) for the inability to ignore the one day when it’s legal to be cheesy. And in the spirit of Valentine’s Day – I must dedicate this blog to my hubby. We will be married for a total of 186 days on Valentine’s. Cheesy, yes…but what did you expect? This post is about Valentine’s Day.
Fellow Valentine’s Day lovers and cheese enthusiasts – check out these décor ideas, I guarantee they will inspire you to decorate your fireplace mantel at home.
(Sigh)…I’m in love.
Nothing says ‘love’ like the colour red. Hearts, candles, wreaths, angels and flowers…it doesn’t get more romantic than this!
For the young at heart – these mantels are fun, cute and adorable. Neat idea with the mailboxes…fill them with pink and red heart-shaped love notes!
These sort of take my breath away. There is an undeniable sense of romance and softness with these mantels – might be the birds and feathers, or palette of pink of garden rose buds. I love the mix and match of pieces to create these simple and pretty vignettes.
I absolutely love this look for Valentine’s Day – it’s dreamy, casually elegant, and fresh. Nothing beats fresh flowers on Valentine’s …well, maybe chocolate.
Happy mantel decorating and Happy Valentine’s Day to all the love birds out there!
