Surprisingly they are everywhere

It always amazes me that when someone asks what I do and I tell them I sell electric fireplaces they have no idea what I am talking about.  Their first response has been, “oh my Grandmother had one”. Electric fireplaces first made their appearance in North America in the 70’s however they were big, made of tin and metal, painted in bold colours and always loud.

Look around now they’ve become a furniture staple. Featured in a living rooms, adding a sense of style to a bedroom and warming a basement.  I have been to restaurants where they have been built in behind the bar, have been in the center of a lobby when checking into a hotel and warming a crowd of people gathering in a coffee shop.

Dimplex has the best flame and those who do their research know that they will add value to any reno, construction or remodeling job. We are consistently finding our Dimplex fireplaces in new unique installations. Here are a few of our most recent installations.
